Image files are stored together on disk while the descriptions are kept in a database. Images from a source disk or folder can be quickly viewed and then logged into the database. The original file can be deleted or renamed if required.
Once logged, images can be recalled easily. Descriptions and file names can be modified. Simple editing can be performed .

The search features allow for keywords to be stored with the description. Search for descriptions, filenames or keywords. Multiple collections can be stored by starting a new archive, and placing the files in a new folder.

Although designed for cataloging image files, ImageLogger can be used as a stand alone graphics viewer. The slide shows and single key browsing can be used on any folder, not just images in the database.

File types supported are: jpg/jpeg, gif, bmp, wmf emf.
