Major Applications Statistics programs bivar1_1.zip - Free Downloads at Simtel.net BIVAR a free program for generating pairs of random numbers from any of
a variety of bivariate probability distributions. The user chooses
the marginal distributions of X and Y and
chooses one of three different types of bivariate structures to induce
positive or negative XY correlations. The random numbers are written to
an ASCII output file, which can then be used as input to a user-written
simulation program needing correlated random numbers. BIVAR was designed
for use in batch files, so all program control information is read from
an ASCII file of input parameters that the user creates with an editor
prior to starting BIVAR.

Special requirements: 386 or later processor.
